Curtain Up at the Old Vic

December 2020 & January 2021

Our Beans in Education (B.I.E) group made headlines in December and January when they were lucky enough to work with The Old Vic's 'Curtain Up' project.

The project was devised to offer a mental health boost for community groups affected by the pandemic. It included three professional acting workshops and tickets to two performances streamed live from the Old Vic.

B.I.E actor Gary Butler said "The Old Vic workshop was amazing! After spending so much time at home, feeling imprisoned. It feels like a weight lifted to know that theatre is still out there. We need to push for more of it."
